As an avid player, I have learned a couple of important lessons while wagering over the decades. It doesn’t matter if you prefer to play at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the numerous internet casinos. The following are my golden codes of gaming, most of which may be looked at as common sense, but if followed they will help you go a long way to departing with a smile on your face.

Rule one: Go into a casino with a predetermined sum that you are willing and can afford to spend – How much would you spend for a night out on food, drinks, entrance fees and tips? This is a perfect value to use.

Rule 2: Don’t pack your credit card with you – or any means of drawing money out. Do not worry about cash for the cab if you burn it all; most taxi drivers, notably the cabs booked at casinos, will take you to your abode and are more than happy to wait for the moolah when you get back.

Rule three: Stay to your predetermined cutoff. I frequently imagine what I’d love to buy should I earn. The last time I went, I decided I’d really would love to purchase a new digital camera which cost about $400, so that was my set limit. As soon as I surpassed that figure, I walked away. Just quit. Even if Mystic Megan herself gives you the upcoming number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and leave. Head out safe in the knowledge that you will be heading into town and acquiring a great brand-new toy!

Rule four: Have a good time. When you are "effervescent" you will succeed. It is a fact. I don’t understand how, but it clearly is. As soon as it becomes a commitment, or you are only wagering to earn $$$$ you have lost, you usually will lose more. When you’re winning, experiencing a great time with your buddies, or your boyfriend, you will gain more and more.
