As an aggressive player, I have been taught a couple of valuable lessons while playing over the years. Whether you prefer to betting at the ‘bricks and mortar’ casinos or the many online casinos. Here are my golden rules of gambling, many of which may be deemed clear thinking, but if followed they will assist you in going a long way to leaving with a sense of enjoyment.
Rule one: Go to a casino with a set number that you are ready and are able to afford to use – How much would you spend for an evening out on diner, cocktails, cover charges and tips? This is a good value to use.
Rule two: Don’t pack your debit card with you – or any other way of drawing money out. Do not worry about money for the taxi if you spend all your money; most cab drivers, particularly the ones hailed at casinos, will drive you to your home and will be more than happy to wait for the money when you get home.
Rule three: Stick to your predetermined threshold. I always think of what I’d love to buy should I succeed. The last time I went, I concluded I would really would like to buy a new Media Player which cost about $400, so that was my predetermined threshold. As soon as I achieved that amount, I quit. Just walk away. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself tells you the upcoming number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and back off. Leave safe in the knowledge that you will be heading into town and acquiring a nice new toy!
Rule 4: Have fun. When you are "buzzing" you will profit. It’s a certainty. I don’t understand how, but it clearly is. Immediately after it turns into a commitment, or you are simply wagering to gain cash you have lost, you usually will fritter away more. When you’re profiting, feeling a good experience with your mates, or your boyfriend, you usually will win even more.
