1st to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the internet or at land-based casinos for many years. I have learned, the fixation can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are beaten. Particularly if you’re on a winning run. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in only a tiny amount of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It seems you are just having fun until you start to be aware of your defeats and the guilt sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It never works. Then you become queasy in your belly and the more you try the faster you lose.

When you see that you’re ahead, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not tell yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, believe me, this logic hardly ever works. Say you are playing on slot games, have a bankroll set to the side prior to starting your play. Don’t exceed that limit, regardless how appealing. If you actually win, put that in a separate canister. Do not spend your wins no matter what. Once you’ve gone through your original set limit, bail out. Head out, regardless if it’s online or at a physical betting house, don’t stick around. Always remember, there is going to be a different day, a different time.

Remember, gambling should be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t manage the cost, don’t even start.
